Eilythia Penati?
Eilythia Penati is a filmmaker and transmedia storyteller based in Los Angeles, with roots in Washington, D.C. She earned a B.F.A in Film & Television Production from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and a minor in Digital Studies.
Her work examines the absurdity of gender norms, intimacies of family dynamics, and the perils and pros of womanhood through a playful lens. She aims to make the serious a bit more fun. Always eager to bend the medium of film, her practice extends beyond the screen to projection mapping, live events, and installations.
Eilythia is a recipient of USC’s 2024 Arts in Action Grant and was a 2024 Dome Fest West Pitch Finalist for the immersive film 'After You'. Her short film 'Hill Boy' is a part of NFFTY's 2026 Official Selection.
